Chinchero - Huchuy Qosqo 3 days

CHINCHERO – HUCHUYQOSQO – PISAQ 03D/02N

It is a mixed service that permits us besides of an important trek we can to share the experiencies of the Andean markets and we recommend to start this service the Sundays to cover the two known Andean markets like Chinchero and Pisaq.

FIRST DAY: CHINCHERO – PIURAY LAGOON – TAUQA:

Very early we pick up yopu from your lodging to go to Chinchero town where we are going to have the opportunity to appreciate the Andean comercial move, we are going to explore the archaeological zone; visit its colonial chapel and the local museum; next we take our backpack and start our trek with initial destine to a lagoon named Piuray, where we can appreciate an important variety of birds besides of the widlife and daily life of the andean people there; after we continue our route to Tauqa town and prepared our equipments to do our campament the first day.

SECOND DAY: TAUQA – QORI QOCHA LAGOON - PUKAMARCA:

Taqa is a town near to Piuray lagoon until it is offering others varieties of brids besides of the Andean life, next our trek continue with direction to step Tauqa 4000 m.a.s.l. in a avergae of 3 hours. From the place we can appreciate a part of the mountain range of the Andes; among the important mountains we will see the Ausangate, The Veronica, Pitusiray and Sahuasiray. In the afternoon we will descent to our first camping located before to arrive to Huchuyqosqo town.

THIRD DAY: HUCHUYQOSQO – LAMAY – PISAQ – CUSCO:

After our breakfast reinitiate our long walk to Huchuyqosqo that we explore with our guide for two hours in average, after we descent to Lamay town but before to see all the grandeur of the Sacred Valley of the Incas to irrigated by the great Wilcamayu or Sacred river (Now Urubamba river); after our lunch; by our transport we go to Pisaq town to visit the other known andean market, If you don’t have the necessary we are goping to have the opportunity until of explore the Pisaq’s archaeological group located in the superior part of the town; to finally return to Cusco city.
