BOOKING CONDITIONS
Booking must be made
with anticipation; we recommend 50 days anticipation to
your arrival in Cusco. This way it will be possible for
us to manage reservations for tours, hotels and services
that will be necessary during your stay in our country.
Only written, fax or through our website requests for
bookings will be honored.
PAYMENT METHODS
Your booking will be
confirmed once we have receptioned the minimum advance
payment (50%) of the total amount per person agreed for
the services involved at the moment of your request. The
balance should be paid at your arrival in our office in
Cusco. Bookings made within the previous 30 days before
your arrival must be totally paid.

FARES
All fares are shown
in US Dollars and in Peruvian Soles and are subject to
change without previous notice. Fares are on a per
person basis unless different conditions are specified
and include all applicable taxes.
CANCELLATIONS AND REIMBURSEMENT:
Request for
reimbursement must be made including all the information
about the services you requested so they could be
attended promptly.
If a cancellation
is received up to or within 25 days prior to your
arrival to Peru or to the start of your tour the deposit
will be reimbursed except for the administrative
expenses.
If a cancellation
is receptioned 30 to 20 days before your date of arrival
or the start of your tour, reimbursement will be subject
to a 50% penalty of the agreed Price.
No reimbursements
will be made if a cancellation is received with less
than 15 days prior to your date of arrival or the start
of your tour.
If a last minute
purchase is done and afterwards a cancellation is made
then the penalty will be of 100% of the agreed services.
No shows will take
place to a total loss of the agreed services and with no
right to reimbursement.
Cancellation or
withdrawal from the agreed services during the trip will
have no right to reimbursement.
Some services can
be interrupted or cancelled due to climate adverse
conditions, earthquakes, riots, or any other reason
beyond our control, or others like flight delays or
cancellations.
In our experience a
minimum percentage of bookings are cancelled by the
client before departure due to some unforeseen
circumstances. The penalties incurred for cancellation
of services will depend on the date of cancellation
according to the following list (Important: At any time
after confirming the purchase of your Inca Trail permit,
in the event of cancellation we will charge the full
cost said permit.
A- 45 days or more
before the date of the start of services: only the bank
charges will not be refunded (except in the case of the
Inca Trail permit).
B- 44 to 30 days
before the date of the start of services: 40% of the
deposit will not be refunded.
C- 29 to 16 days
before the date of the start of services: 50% of the
deposit will not be refunded.
D- 15 to 07 days
before the date of the start of services: 80% of the
deposit will not be refunded.
E- 06 to 0 days
before the date of the start of services: 100% of the
deposit will not be refunded.
IMPORTANT
Chakana adventure
travel EIRL is not responsible if the client does not
meet with the indications made by the Tour Conductor or
if it abandons the group and decides to continue on his
own.
Chakana adventure
travel EIRL reserves the right to accept, deny or retain
any person or member of a group in any of its tours or
trips.
Our company will not
be responsible for diseases, pregnancy, physical or
mental disability, that could mean a risk to the health
or integrity of the passenger or third parties during
the development of the tour or implay any limitation or
disability of our tourist services provision. Therefore
the company will not recognize claims or reimbursements
for the concepts mentioned above including cases were
under normal conditions no problems are manifested.
So we request that we
are informed previously to hiring our services the
existence of limitations of any nature, in order to
recommend specific services that will take the existing
limitations.
