Puente Grau, Bolognesi avenue, church,and
Yanahuara viewpoint and neighborhood from
here we can have an excellent view of
Arequipa city. Then from Carmen alto
viewpoint we can have a view of the Chili
river, Chilina valley and Chachani, Pichu-Pichu
and Misti volcanoes.
Return to the
city and visit The Cathedral, Plaza de
Armas, Cloisters of Compañia de Jesus with
its Polychrome dome, then visit the
Monastery of Santa Catalina, cloister for
nuns, built in the sixteenth century and
open to the public in 1970, after 400 years.
